Sphinx Pharma Wetlab

Sphinx Pharmaceuticals (now Eli Lilly and Co.) engaged Beam for a fast-track, design-build project that included the construction of a new wet lab facility. With a goal of completing construction within 10 months, the project advanced rapidly—sitework and the building shell were underway even as the interior program continued to take shape.

Beam delivered a Class “A” wet lab environment, complete with a vivarium designed for the study of microorganisms. The HVAC system was specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of this facility type.

The project was completed on schedule and under budget, with 100% of the contingency fund ultimately returned to the tenant.
