J.D. Beam has extensive experience in office buildings and complexes. J.D. Beam has built some of Raleigh’s and Durham’s premier “Class-A” office buildings. We’re dedicated to building spaces that meet the client’s needs.

Your health is arguably the most important part of your life, so the place that your health is developed is also important. That is why J.D. Beam is committed to craftsmanship, and quality control when involved in life sciences.

J.D. Beam values community. J.D. Beam understands the importance of spaces that incorporate a communal atmosphere. When we take on senior living we aim to prevent any disruption of day to day activities.

J.D. Beam has been involved in the construction of over 13 hotels. We have been a long term partner of hospitality groups across the Carolinas. We also have a growing list of country clubs and premier community centers.

J.D. Beam has been building warehouses and flex spaces since the early 90’s. We have experience backed by well over 2.5 million square feet. We enjoy building these spaces because of the multiple facets a flex space can include.

J.D. Beam loves being involved and serving in our community. It gives us great joy to complete projects that help better our communities and provide excellent customer service to our first responders.

J.D. Beam has built numerous banks and financial institutions throughout the triangle. Some of these institutions have included the installation of large bank vaults and heightened security features., drive thru banking, and kiosks.

J.D. Beam believes that our children are the leaders (and builders) of tomorrow. Which is why they should have the best quality building possible. J.D. Beam puts forth quality craftsmanship in all of its projects.

J.D. Beam understands that non-profit organizations provide tremendous value to our community. J.D. Beam works with the client to find a price that works for them and help guide the client in cost saving decisions.

J.D. Beam has completed many projects, including six restaurants, that included an area where people gather for food and community. Our favorite part of these projects is seeing the smiling faces of those enjoying the space.

About 25% of all J.D. Beam’s work is Design-Build. We enjoy working with the client and architect to design a space that best fits the needs of the client, while remaining cost conscious. Below is just a few our design build projects.

J.D. Beam started in 1979, completing interior fits-ups almost exclusively. Although our company profile has grown across all major sectors, we still complete interior fit-ups with the same high level of service.
