Beam delivered this 226,000 square-foot, three-story build-to-suit claims processing center for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Designed to support a high-density workplace environment, the building features a long floor plan with multiple stairwells, elevator cores, and restroom areas to enhance accessibility and flow. Beam provided full Design-Build services for plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines.

To support the facility’s operations, a three-story precast parking deck was constructed adjacent to the building. The project also includes a full-service kitchen and cafeteria, a raised access floor system to accommodate future workstation and data system reconfigurations, and specialized geotechnical foundation systems tailored to varying soil conditions across the site—demonstrating Beam’s ability to deliver complex, adaptive solutions for large-scale, mission-critical facilities.
