  • Beam transformed a vacant office building along Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, NC, into a modern, two-story medical and educational facility. The project included a striking new addition clad in glass and metal siding, paired with a full interior renovation of the existing structure. The updated building now houses state-of-the-art teaching spaces, patient care areas, and pharmacy services—serving both educational and clinical needs within the community.

Delivered under a Cost Plus with GMP contract (AIA A102), the project required close collaboration and cost management throughout construction. Recognized for its thoughtful design and positive impact on the urban landscape, the building received the prestigious Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Community Appearance.
