Beam completed a two-story addition to First United Methodist Church in Cary, NC, designed to support the church’s expanding youth and community programs. The new facility includes a flexible-use gymnasium that doubles as an auditorium, a suite of classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and an outdoor playground area—creating a dynamic, multi-functional space for fellowship, education, and recreation.
Constructed with a structural steel frame, brick veneer with metal stud backup, and light gauge metal roof trusses, the addition blends durability with aesthetic continuity. Delivered under a competitive bid contract, the project reflects Beam’s ability to execute high-quality construction while meeting the diverse needs of faith-based communities.
